Website rating is totally inaccurate. The weeds are knee high. You may as well be in a pasture. Customer service is very poor with nobody there. You have to hunt for a space that has sewer. We decided to pass and go another hour down the road to Abeline to a Good Sam property.
It's lacking in luster, has some maintenance issues and a rattle snake problem. all in all unimpressive but mostly quiet with a 450$ monthly rate. Free WiFi that's seemingly intermittent, a pool that isn't kept, no cable or satellite "as advertised on the street sighn", you get to mow and weedeat your lot. There are 2 pool tables and some furniture in the club house, however you might want to bring your own stick if you plan on playing a betting games . There are 2 washers and dryers in the laundry that are smaller than residential units in size. the men's room has toilets, sinks, showers and a keypad lock, however the door cannot be closed because the door jam is broken. The womens door and lock are intact. There is a mobile home on site adjacent to the office that is for rent. I didn't have a bad time here. it's a working persons campground for the local windfarms so if your looking for frills and a wow factor .... you might keep looking.
Rolling Plains R.V park was a great experience for my husband and I. Laurin was very helpful the entire length of our stay. Very clean, enjoyable and overall great experience! Definitely going back.
Who gave the 5 star reviews? Came to site night, almost no light, high weed and sands everywhere. No concrete, no papers at toilet, no pens for check writing. Left next day and will never come back.
Stayed once and it was very pleasant. The staff was amazing and the grounds were kept up real well. Will definitely consider staying again if I'm ever in the area.
