Thank you to all the people who keep the museum open and going.
My parents and grandparents are from this area and have a lot of history in the area. As a kid growing up my dad told me a lot of stories about the base and the pilots. My dad and I have been interested with aircraft of the era. The museum is a great place to visit and learn a lot of history. The pictures of the service people really bring family stories and history together. I hope that the museum is able to get the funds needed to open the other building in the near future.
A special Thank You to all the Service Personnel that served our great country during that time.
If you like aviation or want to inspire a gal or impress a girl friend, this is a great place to go. Lots of stories you won't hear elsewhere. I had a great time here!
This is a great museum commemorating an oft-forgotten piece of American history, namely, the wartime service of the Women's Airforce Service Pilots.
This was an exciting place to see. It wasn't big, but it had a lot of history and our kids enjoyed it.
This is a one-of-a-kind museum. This was the only place during WWII where women were trained to fly certain planes for various missions. Museum is somewhat small at this time, but hoping to expand. It is very educational and free.
